Planning Application Documentation is the documentation to be submitted as part of a planning application.

Description

The documentation to be submitted as part of a planning application will invariably be dictated by the scale and complexity of the proposed development, which could vary from a single residential unit to a regeneration quarter in a city centre consisting of a mixed-used development (shopping centres, apartments, office space, recreational facilities etc).

For a small scheme such as a single dwelling, the following documentation could be expected: Completed Application Form, Correct Fee, Public Notice, Site Location Map, Plans/Drawings (Layout, Sections, Elevations, Contiguous Elevations), Planning Supporting Statement (e.g. setting out compliance with the City Development Plan and land use zoning)

An example of a larger scale proposal would be a planning application for a national hospital in a city centre location. For such a development, the following documentation might typically be submitted (as part of the planning application):
