The protection level against raid question in Securban concerns the measure types

  • Directing traffic flows to the stores. In order for a store to be attractive for committing a raid, a fast exit strategy needs to be present. By designing the surroundings of the stores such that a fast exit is not present, or can be easily blocked, the attractiveness of a store for raid is strongly reduced.
  • Facilitating compliance by promoting legitimate activities at times when risk is highest, which encourages good customer behaviour.

The score is divided into three categories in Securban:

  1. Neither of the measure types are taken to prevent raid.
  2. One of the measure types is taken to prevent raid.
  3. Both of the measure types are taken to prevent raid.

As these categories are not exhaustive, and many intermediate protection levels exist, in answering the question, one will have to choose the level that comes closest to the actual level.

All other measure types against raid (such as surveillance) are covered in other answers in Securban and should not be considered in answering this question.
