An area with a suburban lie or located close to an access route to the town or city has an increased chance of ram raid taking place.

An area is considered close to an access route if:

  • the area is visible from a route that is likely to be taken by travelers to the town or city;
  • the area can be reached from this route with ease.

This means that an area that can be seen from a highway, but without an exit closeby is not considered to be close to an access route in this context.
