This is a help page for the SecuRbAn risk assessment tool

The SecuRbAn tool requires a description of your risk assessment for recording the basic assumptions and knowledge basis used for making the assessment. This can be of vital essence when comparing an assessment with other assessments, or reviewing old assessments.

Elements of the description

In order to describe the assumptions and knowledge basis on which the assessment is based, the following aspects are asked for the following input:

Name of the assessment

The name of the assessment is used for quick reference at a later stage. Any name is allowed, for example 'first assessment of project x', but a wiser title would briefly describe the nature of the assessment, for example 'assessment of approach "green park" version 1.0".

Object description

This field is used to describe the extent of the object that is subject in this analysis. Examples could be 'Recreation area of approach "green park"', or 'Complete "Green park", but with wind mill park moved to south side'.

Used documents / versions

For future reference, it's useful to record the documents used -including their version- in the assessment. This way, a traceable record of the numbers and ideas used to do the assessment is kept.

Time stamp

This field is filled automatically and is used to save the time and date of latest modification of this particular assessment.
