Destruction by fanatics is the crime of purposely causing damage to a building or object in order to make a statement or to influence the public opinion.

Description

Some (groups of) people can be so fanatic in their opinion that they use radical and violent means to make their statement, and therefore cause destruction to public or private property. Usually two categories are distinguished

1. terrorism,
2. radicalism and extremism.
