A rioter is a person who performs vandalism in the context of a disorganized group. Two types of rioters can be distinguished: the protester and the hooligan.
Types of rioters
Protester
A protester is a person who, in the setting of a group, vandalises property or persons in the context of a protest march.
Hooligan
A hooligan is a person who, in the setting of a group, vandalises property or persons in the context of a shared feeling of frustration or exhilaration.
