A location suited to commit robbery is a location that has a combination of characteristics that are conductive to committing robbery. These characteristics are:

  1. The location is busy enough to easily obscure suspect behaviour and to allow disappearing in the crowd, but not that busy that moverment is restricted too much.
  2. The location has times, locations or areas with little or no surveillance.
  3. The location offers multiple and preferably quick exits.

Examples of such locations include parking lots and garages, parks, fields, playgrounds, and areas near public transportation[1] and ATMs[2].
